Latest Doings:
We are back from Stitches Midwest and we had a great time! The new DVDs were a big hit, we did demos from all three DVDs and there was a lot of excitement about wet felting.

This week Kay and I will be working on photos and inventory to fill the store for you. We'll be working on the items below as well as a few more goodies for the website!

Wool Clouds:
There will be new pictures, the colors get better with ever batch we receive!

Hand Dyed Roving: We dye these in small batches and no two are alike. Because of this we don't post "stock" photos of the roving. We'll be working on photos of the roving we have in stock so you can have pictures of exactly what you will receive.

Silk Scarves: We still have a few hand dyed Habotai silk scarves left. These are also one of a kind, we'll be adding photos of each individual scarf. There will also be some undyed silk for purchase.

DVDs: These will be up shortly for immediate purchase.

Finished items: There are many finished items available waiting to be photographed--wonderful jackets and vessels, wet felt flowers, nuno felt scarves, jewelry. At this point we are deciding which will be available here and which on Etsy. We'll keep you posted so you know exactly where to look!

Hand fused Glass Buttons, Pins, Pendants: Provided we can get some decent pictures of the dichroic glass (it doesn't always want to behave well), these will be a new addition to the website.

Embellishing Kits: We spent a wonderful afternoon putting these together for you. They are full of beads, buttons, charms, and fibers. Each of these are one of a kind and will need to be photographed separately. We may list some by color family if you like to be surprised!

If there is anything else you saw at the booth and are interested in, don't hesitate to send us an email!

Take The Next Step
Rona's new book will have approximately 20 projects specially designed for those of you who think you can't make fantastic jewelry or you are too new to do anything fun and wonderful. You don't have to be a designer, you just need a few simple techniques in your bag of tricks, and some new ways to apply them.
For the rest of you, you'll find some fun new ideas and a few twists on what you already know.
Rona is very excited to be working with Kooler Designs again on this project. They are the ones who made 'The Big Book of Needle Felting' so beautiful.
So keep your eyes peeled in 2010 for her new book, and we'll keep you posted on the publication date as we know more!!

Who are we?
We are Kay Kaduce and Rona Horn, a fiber artist and a glass artist combining our skills, ideas, enthusiasm and..of..course..imaginations!
You may know Kay from Doubletake Design Duo, or from her many books. Kay has been working as an artist and designer for many years, and her experience and knowledge are taking us in some fantastic directions. Yes, directions is plural, because we are having just too much fun to do one thing at a time!
Kay is the resident expert in all things wool, felt, fabric and fiber related. Most of the things you see in those fields are her latest experiments and ideas.

Rona Horn is a glass and jewelry artist. You may have seen her work at bead shows, or found her kits at a show you've attended. Rona is drawn to glass, wire, beads, and jewelry of all kinds. When you see those components in our finished items or kit projects, most of those elements are from Rona.

However, there is always exceptions to the rule. And that's what Imagine Together is all about. Several years ago Kay and Rona met will working at a fiber arts store. Those years found them sharing ideas and encouraging each other in ongoing projects. In 2007, Kay was working on a book project with Judy Jacobs. They wanted to feature some jewerly projects, so they invited Rona to join them. After working for several months on the book, Rona and Kay found their projects overlapping more and more. Felting was showing up in Rona's jewelry pieces, and lampwork beads and wire work were showing up in Kay's projects. They also found that when they collaborated on a design, 2 or more new projects sprung in to being at the same.

Imagine Together was the next logical step. Here you'll find most of what you found and loved at our booths. You will also find new items for sale, new kits and new supplies. We just can't help sharing the fun things we find.

You will also find our new Kit of the Month Club debuting in early March. Several project samples are on the Creative Cravings page.

So welcome to our baby site. You can find more specific information on each of us in the About Us section. New items will be added as quickly as we can. If you are looking for something specific, and you don't see it on the site yet, just let us know. And thank you for joining us while we Imagine Together.
